Study Permit / Work Permit / Visitor Record Replacement

If your valid temporary status document (work permit, study permit, or visitor record) has been lost, destroyed, or stolen, you can apply for a replacement. You must have your original temporary status document and a valid eTA or visa to enter Canada. If you are replacing a work permit or study permit, you must also submit a copy of your letter of employment or acceptance.

PR Card Renewal / Replacement

 Permanent Residents in Canada are required to have a valid PR card to enter Canada via any commercial carrier such as a plane, bus, train, or boat. Failure to present a valid PR card may cause problems at Canadian customs in the future. PR cards can be renewed if they are lost, destroyed, stolen, laminated, or no longer accepted.

Landing document / COPR Replacement

A IMM1000 document is given to all permanent residents of Canada at the time of their landing. This document is required to apply for Canadian Pension and/or Old Age Security and may also be required to renew a passport for some countries. The IMM1000 document is not required to apply for Canadian citizenship but must be brought to the oath of citizenship ceremony to be stamped.
